Introduction
The Textile Conservation Consultancy
was established by Sheila Landi in 1989 and moved to
the Stable Yard, Burghley House, Stamford in 1992.
A second workshop was opened in the
Kennel Yard in 2002 specifically to cater for larger
objects such as tapestries, curtains and carpets.

The Consultancy has undertaken commissions covering all aspects
of textile conservation and has served a wide variety
of clients including museums, historic houses, churches,
military organisations and private individuals.
The Stable Yard houses a number of conservation businesses,
all with their own specialisms.
