Samplers and Embroidery

A sampler is a piece of cloth worked with various stitches and designs and is often very beautiful. Mostly they have been worked by young girls and include a line from the alphabet, a religious or moral verse and various animals and birds.

These objects are often family pieces that have been handed down but sadly show the effects of light damage and poor mounting.

Samplers of all types and other smaller items of embroidery can be cleaned, conserved and mounted for display. Framing can also be arranged.
